Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) Odisha-2017
Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE 2017) is the State Level Entrance Test of Odisha State, which is controlled by the State Govt. This entrance test is conducted for admission to various courses in Private & Governmental Medical, Engineering & Management Institutions of Odisha.
Through this test, students will get admission in first year degree courses of Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Pharmacy and Integrated MBA. Odisha JEE offers admissions to Lateral Entry Courses of Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy/MCA. O-JEE also provides entry to first year Master Degree Courses in MCA, MBA/M. Tech/M. Pharma/M. Arch/M. Plan

OJEE 2017 will be conducted for admission to first year degree Courses in Ayurveda/ Homeopathy/Pharmacy; 5 years Integrated MBA Programme, Lateral admission to 2nd year Pharmacy/Engineering/Technology/MCA and 1st year MCA, MBA, M.Tech/M.Pharm/M. Arch/M.Plan Programmes
Entrance Test for B.Pharm/ BHMS / BAMS / B.Tech (Lateral Entry)/B. Pharm (Lateral Entry) / PGAT for M.Tech /M.Tech (Part Time) /M. Arch and M. Pharm/MCA/MCA (Lateral Entry)/MBA / Integrated MBA (5years)

Eligibility Criteria for OJEE 2017
Odisha JEE admission to 1st Year Degree Courses in Pharmacy BAMS /BHMS:
For Pharmacy: Candidates should have Passed or appearing in 2017, 10+2 Science Exam of CHSE, Odisha or equivalent with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the subjects from Mathematics/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational Subject
The candidate should have passed individual subject and must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) in the above subjects taken together
Age Limit
The lower age shall be 17 years as on 31st December 2017; the candidates have to submit HSC or equivalent certificate in support of age during certificate verification at the time of counselling
For admission to Lateral Entry
For admission into 2nd year, Degree Courses in Eng./Tech. Courses under Lateral Entry for Diploma Holders: Candidates should have passed or appearing in 2017, in three year diploma exam (two-year in case of lateral entry diploma) in Engineering from State Council of Technical Education and Training (SCTE&VT), Odisha or from an AICTE approved Institute/from a recognized
University as defined by UGC with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology
Results of final diploma exam must be available on the date of document verification during counselling
There is no reservation of seats in various categories in lateral entry to degree Engineering/Technology (B. Tech) Courses
There is no age limit to admission to this course
For Pharmacy Courses (2nd year under Lateral Entry for Diploma Holders): Candidates should have Passed or appearing in 2017 in diploma exam in two years diploma course after XII standard in Pharmacy with minimum 45% (40% in case of candidate belong to SC/ST category) of marks in aggregate from Odisha State Board of Pharmacy (OSBP) or SCTE&VT or from an AICTE approved Institution/from a recognized University as defined by UGC for direct admission to the third semester degree courses
Results of final diploma examination must be available on the date of document verification. There is no reservation of seats in lateral entry to degree Pharmacy courses. There is no age limit to admission to this course
For Engineering/Technology (2nd year under Lateral Entry for B.Sc./+3 Sc Students): Passed or appearing in 2017, for the Bachelor’s Degree Exam of three years duration in Science from any University of Odisha or from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to ST/SC category) and must have passed XII standard with Mathematics as a subject
Further even though the student in this stream are admitted to second year course, they have to clear the subjects of Engineering Graphics/Engineering Drawing & Engg Mechanics of the first year engineering program along with the second year subjects. The candidates who is a native of Odisha must submit the residence certificate
For Master Degree in Computer Application:
Candidates should have Passed or appearing in 2017, for the bachelor’s degree exam of minimum three years duration in any discipline from any university of Odisha or from a recognized university as defined by UGC and must have passed in Mathematics at 10+2 level or at graduate level. Business Mathematics at +2 level are not permitted
The candidate should have obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) at the qualifying exam; if the candidate has passed BCA with mathematics as a subject, he/she may appear the entrance test without Mathematics at 10+2 level
There is no age limit to admission to MCA course
For MCA (Lateral Entry to 2nd year):
Candidates should have Passed or appearing in 2017, for the bachelor’s degree exam of minimum three years duration in BCA, B.Sc (IT/Computer Science) from any University of Odisha or from a recognized university as defined by UGC and must have passed in Mathematics as a course at 10+2 level or at graduate level. Business Mathematics at +2 level are not permitted
The candidate should have obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) at the qualifying exam. There is no age limit to admission to 2nd year MCA under lateral entry course
For MBA Programme:
Candidates should have passed or appearing in 2017, Bachelor’s Degree Exam of minimum three years duration from any University of Odisha or from a recognized University as defined by UGC/AICTE (or)
The candidate should have obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) at the qualifying exam. There is no age limit to for admission to MBA course
For admission to M.Tech/M.Tech (PT)/M.Pharm/M.Arch Programmes:
Candidates should have completed bachelor’s degree in degree from a recognized college or university. Candidates having 2 years of experience in either education or industry are eligible to apply
For M.Pharm Programme:
Passed or appearing in 2017 Bachelor’s Degree of Exam or equivalent in Pharmacy from any University of Odisha or from an AICTE approved Institute or from a recognized University as defined by UGC
The candidate should have obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) at the qualifying exam. There is no age limit for admission to M.Pharm course
For M.Arch Programme:
Candidates should have Passed or appearing in 2017 Bachelor’s Degree of Exam in the relevant field in Architecture from any University of Odisha or from an AICTE approved Institute or from a recognized University as defined by UGC
The candidate should have obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) at the qualifying exam. There is no age limit for admission to M.Arch course
For MAM Programme:
Passed or appearing in 2017, 10+2 exam of CHSE, Odisha or equivalent. The candidate should have passed all the individual subject and must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) in all the subjects taken together
There is no age limit to appear at OJEE-2017 for admission into MAM courses
For M.Plan Programme:
A pass in recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Planning, Civil Engg or Master’s Degree in Economics, Geography, Sociology, Anthropology, Environmental Science, Statistics, Social works with specialisation in Community Development and Rural Development
Obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying degree exam
For admission to Integrated MBA (5years):
Passed or appearing in 2017, 10+2 exam of CHSE, Odisha or equivalent; the candidate should have passed all the individual subject and must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) in all the subjects taken together
There is no age limit to appear at OJEE-2017 for admission into Integrated MBA (5years) courses

Odisha JEE 2017 Exam Pattern
There will be multiple choice type questions. The number of questions will be sixty (60) per each hour of exam
Each question shall have four answers (including one correct answer) and the examinee shall have to blacken only the appropriate circle/oval (which he/she considers most correct) in black/blue ball point pen. Each correct answer shall fetch four marks
Each unattempted question will fetch zero. One mark will be deducted for wrong answer. No rank will be awarded to such applicants submitting blank answer OMR sheet

Admit Card
Admit cards will be uploaded at OJEE website (www.ojee.nic.in /www.odishajee.com) from 20th – 25th April 2017. The candidate has to download two copies of the admit card from the OJEE website which must be endorsed by the Invigilator of the exam centre for allowing the candidate to appear the exam
If an applicant fails to take print out of Admit Card from the OJEE-2017 website for the exam by April 25, 2017, then he/she must contact OJEE-2017 office immediately before 30th April 2017
If the candidate desires to change any information printed on the Admit card, he/she has to contact OJEE-2017 office immediately after taking the print out of the Admit Card before 30th April 2017
