• Number of Attempts: There is no limit on the number of attempts. Candidates can apply as long as they fulfill the age eligibility criteria.

  1. Visit the official IBPS website: https://www.ibps.in
  2. On the homepage, click on the link for your respective exam (e.g., 'CRP PO/MT', 'CRP Clerical').
  3. Find and click on the link to view your result for the Preliminary/Main Exam.
  4. Enter your login credentials: Registration No. / Roll No. and Password / Date of Birth.
  5. Enter the security captcha and click 'Login' to view your result status and scorecard.

Q1. What is the selection process for IBPS PO?

👉 Three stages: Preliminary Exam → Main Exam → Interview.

 

Q2. What is the selection process for IBPS Clerk?

👉 Two stages: Preliminary Exam → Main Exam. There is no interview for the Clerical cadre.

 

Q3. Is there negative marking in IBPS exams?

👉 Yes, 0.25 marks (or 1/4th of the marks assigned to that question) are deducted for each wrong answer in the objective tests.

 

Q4. Can final year students apply?

👉 Yes, candidates in their final year of graduation can apply provisionally. However, they must produce proof of passing the graduation exam on or before the date specified in the official notification.

 

Q5. How is the final selection made?

👉 For PO, the final merit list is based on the combined score of the Main Exam and the Interview. For Clerk, the final selection is based only on the marks obtained in the Main Exam.
