| Chemist Group A (Cat-I) | Candidates must have either completed or be appearing in a Master’s degree in Science (M.Sc.) in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, or Analytical Chemistry from any recognized university in India. |
| Scientist B (Hydrogeology) Group A (Cat-II) | Candidates must have either completed or be appearing in the final year of a Master’s degree in Geology, Applied Geology, Marine Geology, or any equivalent qualification from any recognized university in India. |
| Scientist B (Chemical) Group A (Cat-II) | Candidates must have either passed or be appearing in the final year of a Master’s degree in Geology, Applied Geology, Marine Geology, or any other equivalent degree from a recognized university in India. |
